This Training provides advanced level heat rate optimization methods of power generation plants with advanced analytical approach. This Training provides detailed description of all the methods used to improve the heat rate (increase the efficiency) of all Power Generation plants, Applications in Coal Based PP, GTPP combined Cycle Application. All the processes, operational and maintenance activities, capital projects, technical options, potential initiatives and incentives to implement upgrades/repairs for increasing the plant efficiency will be covered in detail.
This Training will also provide in-depth explanation of all the equipment and systems used in power generation plants. This includes high critical category 1 equipment’s like Boilers, Gas turbines, Steam Turbines, HRSGs, Condensers, pumps, compressors, fans, transformers, electric generators, DCS, ESDs etc. Performance Factors for all Equipment as per ASME PTC which effect power plant efficiency and affecting compliance to emissions will be explained thoroughly. Heat rate calculations for Power generation plants will be explained in detail. Inefficiencies factors will be discussed along with critical KPIs monitoring and control.
