This is an intensive 3 days workshop, with a deeply overview of Smart Grid, Smart Metering and Digital Transformation for Electric Power Utilities.The workshop starts with a general overview of digital transformation concepts, including Smart Cities approach. Also develop a general understanding of Digital transformation in Electric Power utilities and how this impact in current business model and its operations, achieving a deeply change management and internal reengineering. In sequence, the workshop moves forward to second module, exploring a deeply study of each part of the architecture and structure of Smart grid concept. Smart Grid and Smart Metering architectures, components and emerging technologies will be presented, as well state of art telecommunication concepts and solutions.

Part of this section, real uses case will be presented, reviewed, and discussed. Finally, the workshop develops an exploration about Brazilian Electric System history, structure, and current model, including a special Government Public / Private Program: Rural Electrification “Light for All” that has the objective to achieve full access of electric power in Brazil. Each section will be having continues interaction with the public, presenting market articles and discussion section to leverage the learning curve.
